Creates new criminal offense of advertising the sale of stolen property, with penalties matching the grade of theft for the property being advertised.

Applies to advertisements made through television, radio, telephone, newspaper, magazine, signage, printed material, telecommunications, internet, or electronic means.

Requires knowledge that the property is stolen at the time of advertising to constitute the offense.

Extends existing theft defenses (unawareness of ownership, claim of right, household belongings exception) to apply to the new advertising offense.

Takes effect July 1, 2050.
