Amends Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 198-1 to add a fifth purpose for conservation easements: preserving and protecting life and property from coastal hazards and inundation due to climate change and sea level rise.

Authorizes public bodies and nonprofit organizations to hold conservation easements for climate adaptation and sea level rise mitigation purposes.

Establishes context that Hawaii's sea level has risen approximately 0.06 inches per decade over the past century, with projections of one foot rise by 2050 and three feet by century's end.

Makes grammatical corrections to existing conservation easement language, changing "which" to "that" in references to cultural resources.

Takes effect upon approval.
