Appropriates funds from general revenues for fiscal year 2014-2015 to support operational mission readiness activities of the Hawaii Wing of the Civil Air Patrol, including facilities maintenance not funded by the National Civil Air Patrol.

Civil Air Patrol serves as the official civilian auxiliary of the United States Air Force with congressionally mandated missions including emergency services, aerospace education, and cadet programs.

Hawaii Civil Air Patrol provides critical emergency services including search and rescue missions, disaster relief, tsunami warnings to coastal and remote areas, and assists with homeland security and law enforcement operations.

Funding for Civil Air Patrol activities comes from multiple sources including the National Civil Air Patrol, with this appropriation covering additional operational needs outlined in a memorandum of understanding with the State of Hawaii.

Department of Defense is designated to expend the appropriated funds for purposes of this Act, effective July 1, 2050.
