Requests the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine to establish a Native Hawaiian Health Task Force administratively attached to the medical school.

Task force composition includes the Chair of the Department of Native Hawaiian Health, Director of Health, CEO of the Office of Hawaiian Affairs, and up to 20 additional members with expertise in Native Hawaiian health.

Task force directed to create data sharing policies between state agencies, propose cost-effective environmental improvements, and develop legislation addressing social determinants of health for Native Hawaiians and Pacific peoples.

Task force must propose programs to address health care access barriers, advance health equity, increase preventive services in Native Hawaiian communities, and leverage existing collaborations and partnerships.

Task force required to report findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2016 Regular Session convenes.
