Request the Hawaii Department of Health to create a public repository for cases of aspartame poisoning over one year and report to the Legislature on its status through periodic interim meetings.

Direct the Department of Health to review all existing reports, studies, and literature on aspartame by funding source and submit evaluation to the Legislature no later than 20 days before the 2015 Regular Session convenes.

Request the National Academy of Sciences to conduct a comprehensive review of all aspartame reports, studies, and experiments, with funding sought from foundations and Congress if necessary.

Request the FDA to rescind approval of aspartame immediately on a phase-out basis over 6 months to 1 year.

Transmit certified copies of the resolution to Hawaii's congressional delegation, FDA Commissioner, National Academy of Sciences, state health and commerce officials, and the Attorney General.
