Encourages the Department of Land and Natural Resources to approve Paradise Park, Inc.'s request to reopen Paradise Park in Manoa Valley as a Hawaiian Cultural Center.

Paradise Park held a 75-year lease since 1966 and operated as a public attraction from 1968 to 1994 featuring exotic birds and botanical gardens before closing due to economic downturn.

Proposes reopening with emphasis on Hawaiian cultural education through hula workshops, lectures on Hawaiian culture, musical performances, and specialized botanical gardens celebrating traditional Hawaiian dance.

Paradise Park, Inc. submitted a formal reopening request on February 27, 2013, with a three-phase development plan using existing buildings and the original 1966 master plan, with phase one to be completed within 12 months of approval.

Directs transmission of certified copies of the resolution to the Chairperson of the Board of Land and Natural Resources and Chief Executive Officer of the Office of Hawaiian Affairs.
