Requests Pulama Lanai to continue working in a cooperative public/private partnership with state departments (Land and Natural Resources, Business/Economic Development/Tourism, Health, Human Services, Education), County of Maui, High Technology Development Corporation, and Lanai Aha Moku.

Pulama Lanai is to submit a preliminary report to the Legislature prior to the 2015 Regular Session and a final report prior to the 2016 Regular Session detailing partnership work completed.

Partnership addresses Pulama Lanai's vision to develop Lanai as a sustainable island model, including solar energy infrastructure, electric vehicle adoption, seawater desalination, and organic farming for local consumption and export.

Acknowledges Larry Ellison's 2012 purchase of 98 percent of Lanai from Castle & Cooke, Inc., and the state's interest in supporting the company's sustainability initiatives and community development goals.
