Authorizes the Board of Land and Natural Resources to issue a 55-year non-exclusive easement on state submerged lands at Kahaluu, Koolaupoko, Oahu (Tax Map Key: (1) 4-7-019: seaward of 078)

Easement covers maintenance and repair of existing landscaping area, concrete wall, footing, and other improvements constructed on the property owned by David Knox and Beverly Hoversland

Encroachments predated the Conservation District established in 1964; the Department of Land and Natural Resources determined an easement was the appropriate resolution in 2012

Board of Land and Natural Resources approved the easement grant on December 14, 2012, and legislative authorization is required under Hawaii Revised Statutes section 171-53

Directs transmission of a certified copy of the resolution to the Chairperson of the Board of Land and Natural Resources
