Requests the State Auditor to conduct a sunrise review of the proposed regulation of veterinary technicians and veterinary technology under S.B. No. 2502, S.D. 1 (2014).

S.B. No. 2502 proposes to establish registration requirements, educational standards, title limitations, grounds for denial or suspension of registration, and criminal penalties for veterinary technicians, which are currently unregulated in Hawaii.

Requires the Auditor to submit findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2015 Regular Session convenes.

Notes that the Board of Veterinary Examiners would issue certificates of registration to applicants beginning July 1, 2018 under the proposed legislation.

Directs certified copies be sent to the State Auditor, Chair of the Board of Veterinary Examiners, and President of the Hawaii Veterinary Medical Association.
