Requests the City and County of Honolulu to name the new Central Oahu Ambulance Facility after the late Loretta Fuddy, Director of Health.

Loretta Fuddy was appointed Director of Health in 2011 after three decades of experience in the Department and was a respected national figure in health services and public health administration.

Director Fuddy was killed on December 11, 2013, in a commuter plane crash off the Kalaupapa peninsula while serving marginalized residents of that area.

The Legislature appropriated funds to the City and County of Honolulu in Act 134, Session Laws of Hawaii 2013, for the Central Oahu Ambulance Facility to provide emergency medical services to Leeward Oahu residents.

Directs transmission of certified copies of the resolution to the Governor, Mayor of the City and County of Honolulu, and Director of Emergency Services.
