Designates July 20, 2014, as "Tranquility Base Day" in Hawaii to commemorate the forty-fifth anniversary of the Apollo 11 lunar landing at Tranquility Base on the moon.

Recognizes Hawaii's significant contributions to the Apollo program, including Kauai's Kokee Tracking Station for voice relay and telemetry communications, training sites at Hawaii's volcanic craters, and support for the astronauts' splashdown recovery and quarantine at Pearl Harbor and Hickam Air Force Base.

Encourages Hawaii citizens to celebrate "Tranquility Base Day" to honor the Apollo 11 lunar landing and its importance to Hawaii, the United States, and the world.

Urges the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization to include Tranquility Base and associated artifacts on the World Heritage List alongside landmarks such as the Pyramids at Giza, the Great Wall of China, Independence Hall, and the Statue of Liberty.

Directs transmission of certified copies of the resolution to the Governor and Director-General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization.
