Establishes an advance health care directive working group to develop strategies ensuring all adults in Hawaii execute advance health care directives.

Director of the University of Hawaii Elder Law Program serves as chairperson and invites members from the Judiciary, Department of Health, Attorney General, Executive Office on Aging, Hawaii State Bar Association, a hospital, and a hospice.

Working group must explore strategies and develop recommendations to ensure all adults execute and maintain advance health care directives.

Working group must submit findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2015 Regular Session convenes.

Certified copies of the resolution to be transmitted to the University of Hawaii Elder Law Program Director, Chief Justice, Director of Health, Attorney General, Executive Director of Executive Office on Aging, and Hawaii State Bar Association Executive Director.
