Requests the Department of Accounting and General Services, Department of Land and Natural Resources, and Department of Transportation to incorporate suitable native Hawaiian plant species into landscaping of state construction and remodeling projects wherever feasible.

Identifies native Hawaiian plants as species that naturally arrived in Hawaii through jet streams, birds, or ocean currents and became naturally acclimated to the local environment over millions of years.

Notes that native Hawaiian plants offer multiple benefits including aesthetic enhancement of state facilities, drought resistance characteristics that conserve water resources, and promotion of flora suited to Hawaii's unique environment.

Specifies that the Department of Accounting and General Services manages state building landscapes, the Department of Land and Natural Resources manages public lands, and the Department of Transportation manages state highway construction and adjacent plantings.

Directs certified copies of the resolution be transmitted to the Comptroller, Chairperson of the Board of Land and Natural Resources, and Director of Transportation.
