Designates July 20, 2014, as "Tranquility Base Day" in Hawaii to commemorate the 45th anniversary of the Apollo 11 lunar landing at Tranquility Base on the moon.

Recognizes Hawaii's contributions to the Apollo program, including Kauai's Kokee Tracking Station providing communications relay, Hawaiian volcanic sites used for astronaut training between 1965-1972, and support for the Apollo 11 crew's splashdown and recovery.

Encourages Hawaii citizens to celebrate "Tranquility Base Day" to honor the Apollo 11 lunar landing and its significance to Hawaii, the United States, and the world.

Urges the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) to include Tranquility Base and associated artifacts on the World Heritage List alongside other renowned landmarks.

Directs transmission of certified copies of the resolution to the Hawaii Governor and the Director-General of UNESCO.
