Request Department of Health to convene a cottage food business working group with department and industry representatives to examine food safety rules and their impact on the cottage food industry.

Working group to examine permitting process restrictions, including the requirement to reapply every 120 days, potential authorization of home kitchens as approved sources, and volume parameters for food sales.

Request working group submit report with findings, recommendations, and proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than 20 days before the 2015 regular session convenes.
