Request Department of Land and Natural Resources to define "best use" of agricultural lands based on agricultural production suitability rather than highest profitability.

Require agricultural lease rents be based on land value for intended agricultural production using current production values, excluding land sale prices and lessee improvements.

Grant lessees with agricultural leases of 20+ years a right of first refusal to renew or extend before public auction, provided they are in good standing and have not had previous public land arrangements canceled.

Direct DLNR to expeditiously transfer all managed lands leased or under revocable permit for agricultural purposes to the Department of Agriculture.
