Requests the Department of Land and Natural Resources to convene a task force to recommend designated areas on state properties where ahu (Hawaiian stone heaps or platforms used as memorials) can be erected.

Task force composition includes the Chairperson of the Board of Land and Natural Resources, Administrator of the State Historic Preservation Division, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the Office of Hawaiian Affairs, a representative from the Association of Hawaiian Civic Clubs, and a representative from the Bernice Pauahi Bishop Museum.

Requires the Department of Land and Natural Resources to report findings and recommendations to the Legislature no later than 20 days before the 2015 Regular Session convenes.

Task force automatically dissolves on June 30, 2015.

Certified copies of the resolution must be transmitted to all task force member organizations.
