Amends Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 706-668.5(l) to change the default rule for multiple sentences of imprisonment imposed on defendants who already have unexpired sentences from June 18, 2008 or earlier.

Requires terms of imprisonment imposed on such defendants to run concurrently unless the court orders or statute mandates consecutive sentences.

Allows multiple terms of imprisonment imposed on or after the effective date of this Act to run concurrently unless ordered or mandated by court or statute to run consecutively.

Takes effect upon approval of the Act.
