Appropriates $165,000 from transient accommodations tax revenues allocated to counties for fiscal year 2015-2016 to the Office of the Auditor.

$15,000 allocated to cover actual expenses incurred by the state-county functions working group established by Act 174, Session Laws of Hawaii 2014.

$150,000 allocated to procure consultant services to evaluate the division of duties and responsibilities between the State and counties for public services.

Consultant services shall develop methodologies to determine appropriate allocation of transient accommodations tax revenues between the State and counties based on division of duties and responsibilities.

Takes effect July 1, 2015.
