Appropriates $120,000 for fiscal years 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 for administrative and operational expenses of the aha moku advisory committee.

Appropriates an additional $30,000 for fiscal years 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 for community outreach efforts of the aha moku advisory committee.

Funds to be expended by the department of land and natural resources for the aha moku advisory committee, which was established in 2012 to advise on traditional Hawaiian resource management practices.

Committee had never received funding despite being established by Act 288 and having legislature-approved appropriations.

Effective date: July 1, 2015.
