Department of Agriculture shall develop and implement a pilot pesticide treatment coupon project distributing free coupons to Hawaii County residents for one-year supply of recommended little fire ant treatments for verified infestations on their property.

Department of Agriculture must create and periodically update a map showing all little fire ant sites in Hawaii County using available data and verified reports, to be posted on the department's website.

Department of Agriculture shall submit progress reports to the legislature no later than twenty days before the 2016 and 2017 regular sessions, including findings, recommendations, proposed legislation, and whether to continue, terminate, or modify the coupon pilot project and site map.

Appropriation of unspecified amount (blank in bill text) from general revenues for fiscal years 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 for implementation of the coupon pilot project and site map.

Act takes effect July 1, 2015.
