Expands the doctoral degree requirement for psychologist licensing in Hawaii to include American Psychological Association-approved programs in counseling psychology and school psychology, in addition to clinical psychology.

Permits doctoral degrees from programs offering combinations of two or more of the recognized psychology specialty areas (clinical, counseling, or school psychology).

Maintains existing requirements for one year of post-doctoral supervised experience in health service psychology and passage of a board-prescribed examination.

Recognizes the American Psychological Association's Commission on Accreditation, which has been accrediting professional psychology programs for over sixty years and holds formal recognition from the U.S. Department of Education.
