Appropriates general revenues to the Hawaii historic preservation special fund for fiscal years 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 to implement a data management plan for digitizing over 3,600,000 pages of historic preservation records.

Directs the Department of Land and Natural Resources to use appropriated funds from the special fund to digitize historic preservation records and create databases and geographic information systems.

Establishes one full-time equivalent historic preservation librarian position and multiple full-time and temporary office assistant positions in the State Historic Preservation Division to manage the digitization project and ongoing records management.

Addresses National Park Service requirements for the State Historic Preservation Division's Corrective Action Plan, which was partially approved in June 2014 pending acceptance of a revised data management plan.

Takes effect on July 1, 2050 (note: specific appropriation amounts are left blank in the bill text).
