Urges the City and County of Honolulu to commission an independent fiscal audit of the Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve Fund.

Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve receives over 800,000 visitors annually and charges $7.50 per non-resident admission while offering free access to Hawaii residents.

The preserve has experienced deferred maintenance for up to a decade, attributed to possible mismanagement or misuse of dedicated preserve funds.

Audit scope includes general obligation bonds charged to Hanauma Bay (1995-2014), the Nature Preserve Fund (2002-2014), and distribution of interest paid (1995-2014).

Directs transmission of the resolution to the Mayor, Honolulu City Council, Department of Budget and Fiscal Services, Hawaii Kai Neighborhood Board, and Friends of Hanauma Bay.
