Request that the Department of Health promptly investigate all alleged violations of laws and rules related to human health and the environment by solid waste recycling companies, including Island Recycling Incorporated.

Direct the Department of Health to timely issue appropriate penalties and orders for corrective action upon completion of investigations into violations.

Require the Department of Health to provide complaining or interested parties with information regarding the status and results of investigations and any resulting penalties or corrective orders.

Call for equitable enforcement of all applicable laws and rules against all solid waste recycling companies to ensure compliant, fair, and safe operations that protect Hawaii's citizens and environment.

Direct certified copies of the resolution be transmitted to the Director of Health and the mayors and chiefs of police of Hawaii, Maui, Kauai counties and Honolulu.
