Urges the University of Hawaii System to establish a Veterans Resource Office and a Veterans Resource Center at each of the ten campuses to support veterans enrolled across the system (more than 2,400 veterans comprising 4% of student body).

Each Veterans Resource Center should conduct campus surveys, establish steering committees with student veterans and staff, provide sensitivity training for faculty on military culture and veteran issues, and develop student veteran orientation programs.

Centers should establish peer mentoring programs, offer optional veterans-only courses, develop outreach to military bases, and provide comprehensive resources for student veterans and military families.

Each center should collaborate with community organizations and the Director of the Office of Veterans' Services to offer career and job placement services for student veterans.

Urges the Veterans Resource Office to offer a Veterans Supportive Campus certification to campuses that successfully implement the resolution's goals.
