Urges the City and County of Honolulu Department of Transportation Services to increase pedestrian safety around Honowai Elementary School, Mauka Lani Elementary School, and Kaleiopuu Elementary School in District 39.

Notes that Hawaii ranks 13th in the nation for pedestrian fatalities, with Honolulu experiencing 25 pedestrian fatalities in 2014, up from 16 in 2012 and 19 in 2013.

Identifies that the three schools collectively serve approximately 2,500 students and experience heavy pedestrian and vehicle congestion during school arrival and dismissal times.

Recommends considering raised crosswalks or alternative crosswalk materials, pedestrian crossing signs, "School Xing" pavement markings, and visual cues on roadways leading to sidewalks.

Requires transmitting copies of the resolution to the Mayor, Department of Transportation Services Director, Honolulu Police Chief, Superintendent of Education, and the three school principals.
