Request Department of Health to establish pesticide buffer zones by rule around sensitive areas including schools, hospitals, child care facilities, shorelines, watersheds, and bodies of water.

Buffer zones must restrict pesticide use by commercial agricultural entities that purchase or use large quantities of restricted use pesticides.

Require commercial agricultural entities using large quantities of restricted use pesticides to identify application sites using a unique and verifiable method.

Mandate disclosure requirements including posting warning signs, notifying parents/guardians and residents, and providing annual public reports to the Department of Health on all outdoor pesticide applications.

Department of Health must submit a report to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2016 Regular Session on actions taken to implement this resolution.
