Authorizes the Board of Land and Natural Resources to issue a 55-year term lease and non-exclusive easement to Pulama Lanai for approximately 585 square feet of pier pilings at Pulawai, Lanai (Tax Map Key: (2) 4-9-17).

Pier pilings are historic remnants of a cattle chute built in the early 1900s, listed as Site 50-40-98-1522 on the State Inventory of Historic Properties.

Pulama Lanai agreed to provide a $250,000 security deposit for the pier pilings, applicable to future considerations or other charges.

Authorization required by Hawaii Revised Statutes section 171-53(c), which mandates legislative concurrent resolution approval for leasing state submerged lands and lands beneath tidal waters.

Board of Land and Natural Resources approved the request on June 13, 2014; legislation codifies this approval and requires certified copies be transmitted to the BLNR Chairperson.
