Urges the Governor, Department of Education, Hawaii State Teachers Association, and Board of Education to implement compensation for ancillary activities and overtime for teachers in the next collective bargaining agreement.

Identifies ancillary activities as necessary teaching support work performed outside school hours, including lesson planning, class preparation, material gathering, research, grading, and teacher evaluations.

Notes that the current collective bargaining agreement provides no compensation for teachers working more than 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week, or for ancillary activities.

Proposes compensating teachers for overtime and ancillary activities at a rate equal to 1.5 times their effective hourly wage calculated from their salary.

Requires certified copies of the resolution be transmitted to the Governor, Board of Education Chairperson, Superintendent of Education, and Hawaii State Teachers Association President.
