Designates October of each year as "Farm to School Month" in Hawaii to strengthen and support farm to school initiatives in schools.

Recognizes that farm to school initiatives connect schools and local farms to serve healthy meals, improve student nutrition, and reduce childhood obesity.

Acknowledges that farm to school programs provide students with fresh local foods, educational opportunities through school gardens and farm field trips, and strengthen community connections to local food producers.

Notes that the United States House of Representatives designated October as national "Farm to School Month" in 2010.

Requires certified copies of the resolution to be transmitted to the Governor, Superintendent of Education, Board of Agriculture Chairperson, University of Hawaii College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources Dean, and Hawaii Farm to School and School Garden Hui.
