Supports the Republic of Korea's efforts toward peaceful reunification of the Korean Peninsula and urges North Korea to engage in sincere reunification dialogue.

Acknowledges the 2014 United Nations Commission of Inquiry report detailing human rights violations in North Korea and supports UN General Assembly Resolution 69/188 addressing North Korea's human rights situation.

Urges North Korea to acknowledge international concerns regarding human rights violations, improve conditions for its people, abandon nuclear goals, and engage in dialogue with South Korea on reunification.

Notes that Korean reunification would provide economic benefits including access to affordable labor, abundant natural resources, and economic and military growth.

Directs transmission of certified copies of the resolution to the leader of North Korea, the president of South Korea, and the Secretary-General of the United Nations.
