Congratulates the Moon Riders robotics teams from Iolani School and Kealakehe High School for developing a NASA experiment to test the electrodynamic dust shield (EDS) on the lunar surface.

Recognizes the partnership between the robotics teams, NASA, Pacific International Space Center for Exploration Systems (PISCES), Google Lunar XPrize, and the Hawaii Department of Education to address dust challenges in lunar landings.

Acknowledges both teams' accomplishments: Iolani School's nine years as a science, technology, engineering, and math hub in Honolulu with multiple robotics competition wins, and Kealakehe High School's six years serving West Hawaii with over 50 awards across 26 different platforms.

Notes the teams are building rover mockups and will conduct engineering field tests in March 2015 at a PISCES test site on Mauna Kea to simulate lunar landing conditions and test EDS performance.

Directs certified copies of the resolution to be transmitted to the Head of School of Iolani School and Principal of Kealakehe High School.
