• Authorizes the director to issue special license plates for Haleakala National Park to resident owners of passenger motor vehicles upon application.

• Special plates must contain words or an image indicating they recognize Haleakala National Park and match the shape, size, and color of standard regulation passenger motor vehicle plates.

• Special plates shall be securely fastened to the vehicle in lieu of the regulation number plate.

• Applicants must pay the cost of the plates plus administrative costs for furnishing the Haleakala National Park special license plates in addition to any other authorized fees.
