Establishes a transit oriented development coordinator position within the office of planning to be appointed by the director in accordance with state civil service laws.

Coordinator responsibilities include inventorying state lands in transit oriented development areas, assessing agency needs, prioritizing sites for development, preparing site master plans, exploring public-private partnerships, and seeking funding for project implementation.

Appropriates funds from general revenues for fiscal years 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 to establish and operate the coordinator position (specific dollar amount blank in bill text).

Appropriated funds to be expended by the office of planning for purposes of establishing the transit oriented development coordinator.

Takes effect July 1, 2015.
