Requires warning labels on all sugar-sweetened beverages sold in sealed containers stating "SAFETY WARNING: Drinking beverages with added sugar contributes to obesity, diabetes, and tooth decay."

Mandates specific font sizes and character limits based on container size: 1mm font for containers 8 oz or less, 2mm for containers over 8 oz and under 2 liters, and 3mm for containers 2 liters or larger.

Requires warning labels on vending machines, soda fountains, and point-of-sale locations where sugar-sweetened beverages are sold in unsealed containers.

Applies to syrups and powders intended for retail sale that contain caloric sweeteners used to make sugar-sweetened beverages.

Establishes civil penalties of $500 to $1,000 per day of violation; effective January 1, 2017.
