Expands the doctoral degree requirement for psychology licensure in Hawaii to include American Psychological Association accredited programs in counseling psychology, school psychology, and combinations of these areas, in addition to clinical psychology.

Maintains the existing requirements for post-doctoral supervised experience in health service psychology and completion of an approved internship or organized health service training program.

Recognizes American Psychological Association accredited doctoral programs that provide broad training in scientific psychology and prepare students for professional psychology practice.

Takes effect upon approval.
