Establishes the Hawaii public schools financial literacy task force to develop recommendations for implementing financial literacy education in public schools.

Task force must address legal and cultural concerns, determine curriculum content, identify time requirements, and develop a plan to train teachers for financial literacy instruction.

Task force composition includes one department of education representative, one Hawaii State Teachers Association representative, three school administrators/teachers, three financial institution representatives, and three at-large members.

Task force must submit findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the legislature no later than twenty days before the 2016 regular legislative session, with copies distributed to the board of education, governor, and legislative leadership.

Task force ceases to exist on June 30, 2016.
