Increases the threshold value in controversy requirement for jury trials in civil cases at common law from $5,000 to $10,000

District courts will continue to try and determine all actions without a jury, subject to appeal according to law

When a civil matter is triable of right by a jury and jury trial is demanded, the case must be transferred to circuit court if the amount in controversy exceeds the threshold

Takes effect upon approval and upon ratification of a constitutional amendment to increase the jury trial threshold from $5,000 to $10,000
