Establishes a Hawaii farm to school program within the department of agriculture with stated purposes including improving student health, developing an agricultural workforce, increasing local food procurement for schools, expanding farm and garden-based education, and strengthening relationships between schools and agricultural communities.

Creates a full-time farm to school coordinator position to oversee the program and collaborate with stakeholders on issues of supply, demand, procurement, and consumption of Hawaii-grown foods in state facilities, primarily schools.

Appropriates $75,000 from the agricultural development and food security special fund for fiscal year 2015-2016 to establish the one full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) farm to school coordinator position.

Takes effect on July 1, 2015.
