Requires separate electricity meters for each residential unit in all mixed-use condominium projects, with separate meters also required for nonresidential units.

Authorizes condominium boards to install separate meters for other utilities including water, gas, fuel, oil, sewerage, air conditioning, and chiller water in addition to electricity.

Allows up to 50 percent of the total cost of installing meters to be subsidized by the condominium association.

Requires owners to pay for metered utilities based on actual consumption, collected through the same process as common expense assessments, with maintenance fees adjusted to prevent duplicate charges.

Takes effect July 1, 2015, and establishes penalties for violations or non-compliance with metering requirements.
