Permits "temporary shelters" as an agricultural support use on lands in Hawaii's agricultural district, defined as independent housekeeping units with bathroom and kitchen facilities occupied for no more than five years.

Temporary shelters must be located on and used in connection with a farm or agricultural activity that provides income to the occupying family, including clusters of shelters in state-developed agricultural parks.

Defines temporary shelters to include house trailers and intermodal containers as qualifying structures.

Adds temporary shelters as a permitted use on agricultural lands with soil classified as overall productivity rating class A or B under section 205-4.5(a)(23).

Takes effect July 1, 2015.
