Convenes a Legislative Family Caregivers Working Group to examine issues related to family caregivers of patients discharged from hospitals, including caregiver designation, notification, discharge planning, and hospital staff instruction roles.

Working group composition consists of six legislative members: Senate and House chairs of health and human services committees, plus one Senate and one House member from the Kupuna Caucus appointed by leadership.

Requests input from 13 stakeholder organizations including the Department of Health, AARP Hawaii, Healthcare Association of Hawaii, Hawaii Health Systems Corporation, and various elder affairs and caregiver advocacy groups.

Directs working group to research other states' approaches, examine available community resources, consider stakeholder concerns, and submit findings and recommendations to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2016 Regular Session.

Terminates the previous family caregivers working group created by H.C.R. No. 78 upon adoption of this resolution and provides Legislative Reference Bureau assistance with research and report drafting.
