Designates October of each year as "Farm to School Month" in Hawaii to strengthen and support farm to school initiatives in schools statewide.

Recognizes that farm to school programs connect schools with local farms to serve healthy meals, improve student nutrition, and reduce childhood obesity.

Acknowledges that farm to school initiatives provide students with access to fresh local produce and educational opportunities such as school gardens and farm field trips.

Aligns with the U.S. House of Representatives' 2010 designation of October as "National Farm to School Month" when schools celebrate local food in cafeterias and classrooms.

Requires transmitting copies of the resolution to the Governor, Superintendent of Education, Board of Agriculture Chairperson, University of Hawaii College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources Dean, and Hawaii Farm to School and School Garden Hui.
