Request Department of Health to assess the incidence of alcohol-related motor vehicle accidents and alcohol-related injuries in Hawaii and their associated medical costs

Require University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine to collaborate with the Department of Health in conducting the assessment

Direct each county police department to provide statistics on alcohol-related motor vehicle accidents and injuries in their respective counties to assist the Department of Health

Require Department of Health to submit a report with findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2016 Regular Session convenes

Transmit certified copies of the resolution to the Director of Health, Dean of the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine, and Police Chief of each county
