Request that the Federal Bureau of Investigation report crimes and offenses relating to domestic violence under the Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) program.

Direct the FBI to develop parameters and definitions for crimes and offenses relating to domestic violence for UCR reporting purposes.

Require the Research and Statistics Branch of the Department of the Attorney General to work with the FBI to pursue domestic violence crime reporting under the UCR system.

Direct the Department of the Attorney General to work with county police departments to develop an annual report on domestic violence crime statistics in Hawaii.

Require the Department of the Attorney General to report to the Legislature on its efforts and progress in compiling domestic violence crime statistics no later than twenty days before each Regular Session convenes.
