Supports S.B. No. 773, which prohibits slaughtering, trafficking, and possession of dogs or cats for human consumption and redefines "pet animal" to include any dog or cat regardless of breeding purpose.

Directs certified copies be transmitted to the Governor, Senate President, House Speaker, Director of Health, and Director of Commerce and Consumer Affairs.
