Governor is requested to convene a bullying prevention task force consisting of at least 11 members representing teachers, administrators, mental health professionals, parents, youth, service providers, clergy, and youth advocates.

Task force is requested to create a model anti-bullying policy for educational institutions and youth-serving agencies that receive state funding.

Model policy must include definitions of bullying and cyberbullying, conduct codes, consequences for violations, reporting procedures for anonymous complaints, investigation procedures, parent notification procedures, appeal processes, and retaliation prohibitions.

Task force members serve without compensation and must submit an initial report to the Legislature no later than 20 days before the 2016 Regular Session and a final report no later than 20 days before the 2017 Regular Session.

Task force is scheduled to be dissolved on December 31, 2017.
