High Technology Development Corporation requested to establish a working group to examine creation of a first responders technology campus and cyber security command center in central Oahu.

Working group to include representatives from Hawaii National Guard, Hawaii Army National Guard, Hawaii State Civil Defense, Department of Public Safety Sheriff Division, Honolulu Fire Department, Honolulu Police Department, and Honolulu Emergency Medical Services.

Working group must examine establishment plan, identify funding sources, determine staffing needs, and evaluate potential sites and designs within central Oahu.

Working group members serve without compensation but receive reimbursement for expenses including travel.

Working group required to submit report with findings and recommendations to the Legislature no later than 20 days before the 2016 Regular Session; group dissolves June 30, 2016.
