Request the Department of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism to set goals for improving job creation and Hawaii's business climate.

Request development of strategies and implementation plan to diversify Hawaii's economy beyond tourism, military, and construction sectors.

Request identification of new industries for relocation or investment to Hawaii and incentives to attract them and retain skilled workers.

Require the Director to present goals orally to the Legislature no later than 20 days before the 2016 Regular Session convenes.

Require submission of a written report on departmental goals and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than 20 days before the 2016 Regular Session convenes.
